As a sculptor, I find myself drawn to the mesmerizing world of dance, where beauty and mystery work together in a symphony of movement. My work is a reflection of this fascination, a journey into the depths of human emotion as captured through the graceful forms of dancers in a fleeting moment.

 In my creative process, I try to capture not just the physical side of dance, but also its emotional resonance. Each sculpture is a delicate balance of form and feeling, stillness and movement,   illustrating the enduring power of dance as a universal language of expression.  .

Through my art I aim to inspire others to recognize and celebrate the fundamental beauty of the human form and  awaken a sense of wonder and appreciation for the subtle nuances that define us as individuals.

Kathy is a sculptor based in Hertfordshire, whose artistic journey  was ignited by her background in ballet and contemporary dance. Fascinated by the shapes formed through human movement, Kathy channels her inspiration into creating simplistic and elegant sculptures of dancers.

Working primarily with plaster, she is captivated by its ability to simplify details, enabling her to focus on expressing the timeless essence of the human form.         However, when a sculpture calls for intricate detail and lifelike realism, she turns to clay for its suppleness and delicacy.Whether working with plaster or clay, her sculptures are ultimately cast in bronze which enhances their artistic expression, and durability.

Since 2008, Kathy has exhibited her work in numerous galleries, captivating audiences worldwide. Her sculptures have found homes in the collections of international art enthusiasts, and she has undertaken many sculpture commissions for private collectors around the world.
