The sculpture is made from air drying clay sculpted over a wire armature and then finished with acrylic and oil paints. The idea of the sculpture is the following: words are birds; moonlight birds are messengers that come from far away from distant lands. Based on a poem 'Words are Birds' by Francisco X. Alarcon.
