The artwork was created to highlight the human impact on the animal kingdom. 46,300 species are threatened with extinction. This critically endangered cockatoo lives in Indonesia, Timor-Leste, China, Hong Kong and Singapore. They dwell in large trees and only 1200-2000 remain in the wild after a dramatic decline due to deforestation and illegal trapping for the cage bird trade and as a food source. Numbers are still decreasing. 10% of sales will go to the WWF.
