Porcelain, wire, unpolished granite sculpture
h: 32 w: 11 d: 9 (cms).
I found an Edwardian immortelle grave ornament in a Welsh churchyard. Usually comprising of unglazed white porcelain flowers and symbols, I visualised Shakespeare’s iconic Ophelia as deserving of such a tribute, as translated the name `immortelle` means `everlasting`.
